Preventative, Restorative, and Cosmetic Dentistry…
All Close to Home.
We welcome new patients of all ages… kids and adults!
We believe strongly in Preventative Dentistry and our goal is to help each patient keep their teeth healthy and functional throughout their lives. This goal requires routine checkups and cleanings as well as good oral home care. Whether you are coming to us from another dental office or coming to the dentist for the first time ever, we welcome you as a new patient and are committed to helping you reach your oral health goals.
New addition, or long-time friend, you’ll find links below to take you to the information you may be searching for first:
What Makes Us Different?
We understand a warm, casual, home-like atmosphere is more comforting than a cold, clinical environment. It’s important our patients are put at ease when they enter our doors and feel they’ve come “home” to a place with people who genuinely care about them.
The calm, relaxed feel of our office is a direct reflection of Dr. Skinner’s personality. You’ll find we don’t treat teeth – We treat people. We take the time to get to know YOU and how we can serve you best.
For us, it’s the only way…and it has been that way since 1986.
All Services Available – With a Gentle Touch.
Even with the best preventative care, other maintenance, repairs, and cosmetic corrections are sometimes needed. We offer a full range of Restorative and Cosmetic Services, and have extensive experience in Implant Supported Solutions.
Known for his gentle touch, Dr. Skinner believes strongly in positive dental experiences and gives special attention to your comfort and personal care. When a need arises for dental services not performed in our office, you won’t need to worry.
Dr. Skinner is very actively involved in his profession and will connect you with a highly qualified Specialist to address those needs.
A Picture’s Worth 1,000 Words – See it For Yourself!
Digital x-rays and intra-oral camera images display easily on patient monitors and allow us to show you what we see in your mouth! This means you won’t have to take our word for it, you can see it for yourself. We believe this enhances your understanding of the problem, and makes it easier to understand the pros and cons of each potential solution offered.
In this way, we become “partners” in your oral care and together we can find the treatment plan that suits you best. You can rest assured that Dr. Skinner’s treatment recommendations are ALWAYS based solely on your actual needs and with your best interest in mind.
On-Time Appointments. Isn’t that nice? 🙂
We do not make a practice of overbooking appointments, and our patients are usually seen at the time we appointed them. We allow time for our patient’s dental emergencies as well. On these occasions, a procedure will sometimes take longer than expected and cause a slight delay in another patients appointment time…but that is pretty rare.
We respect the time you have set aside with us and will always do our best to get you in and out on schedule.

Healing After Extractions
The healing process begins the moment a tooth is removed. After an extraction, the body sends blood to nourish the tooth socket and a blood clot is formed. This clot is an important part of the normal healing process.
